Maximum Voice Ventrilo Control Panel tutorial for beginners.
We have conveniently added a billing and control panel link on the top toolbar. Feel free to use this at anytime.The link for the control panel is: control.maximumvoice.com to login. You will need your username and password you received in your welcome e-mail. For the sake of this tutorial, I used my username.
Once you have clicked login, you will be directed to this screen:

With these options:
Ventrilo Panel Menu Options
This will be your main navigation for the Ventrilo control panel.
Main:
This takes you to the home page. All news regarding our services will be posted here.
Servers:
Here is where you can control your Ventrilo server(s) you have with Maximum Voice.
Servers
This is your main panel. Here you can Edit/View your server config?s, and control whether it is on or off. *Note* You must restart it once you have made changes to your config.
Server Configuration Window
Sub menu options on the Server Tab:
Edit Config:
This allows you to edit your configuration file and edit such things as server name, codec setting, admin password and server password.
Edit Users:
This is used to edit users so they may have administrative access or a reserved user name.
Edit Channels:
This is to edit channels on your ventrilo server.
Edit Bans:
This is to edit the banlist from your ventrilo.
Edit MOTD:
This is the screen that pops up when you connect to a ventrilo server.
View Log:
This is how you can view the past history on your ventrilo server, a must need if an admin has abused or something happened.
Most Important fields of your config file:
Name:
Server name displayed at the top of your Ventrilo.
Authentication:
Do you want them to have to connect with a password? You must set a password if you set it to Global password!
User Password:
The password that you must set for it to be a protected server.
Admin Password:
This is for you to login to your admin.
Voice Codec:
This is for you to choose. Mac users require Voice Speex, while Windows runs perfect off of GSM. If you have advanced quality you should go with the 44,100 Hz. If you have regular quality you should go with 22,100 Hz.
My Account:
This is for managing your account?s email, and password. This is only important if you would like to change your password.

Log Out:
This is to log out of your account once you have finished everything you need to do in the panel.
